Jacksonville hearing specialist, Doctor Knox.Dr. Knox received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. After completing an internship in General Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center and a residency in Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Knox completed a Fellowship in Neurotology at Baylor College of Medicine.

As a member of the faculty of the University of Florida, he served as Assistant Professor at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Knox later served on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center as the Director of the Balance Center, Department of Orthinolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Knox's practice is focused on otologic and neurotologic surgery, as well as sinus surgery. In addition to caring for those patients with more common otologic and neurotologic disorders, Dr. Knox has special interests and experience in hearing and balance disorders, motion sickness and vestibular physiology.

Through the Northeast Florida Ear Research Institute, NASA, and the University of Florida, Dr. Knox is active in medical research. His research interests include motion sickness, middle ear implants, influenza treatment, and proton beam therapy for acoustic neuroma. He holds two United States patents and is the author of over 60 publications.

In January of 2006, the practice announced the opening of their new office at 12276 San Jose Boulevard, Suite 516 in Jacksonville, Florida, providing a wide range of ENT services.
